Kudos for Jian Ghomeshi

GSA speaker and CBC’s ‘Q’ radio host, Jian Ghomeshi, is getting international kudos for how he handled a recent interview with actor turned musician, Billy Bob Thornton, and his new band, The Boxmasters.
The interview, which has since been seen globally, shows a quiet and disinterested Thornton. Apparently, the star was upset with Ghomeshi because he introduced him as an actor, as well as a musician. That was enough to set Thornton off for a bizarre interview, which Ghomeshi handled with poise and professionalism.
Thornton cancelled the two remaining dates of the Willie Nelson tour he was on while in Canada following the interview.
Jian Ghomeshi is a musician and writer turned broadcaster, who is known for his critical opinions and unscripted wit.
