The Passing Zone inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame!

August 25, 2010

Passing ZoneNSB/GSA’s Vice President, Theresa Beenken was in attendance at the National Speakers Association Conference in July, in her role as President of the International Association of Speakers Bureaus (IASB) and witnessed the Passing Zone accept their award and she can attest that it was a fantastic acceptance and performance!

Jon Wee and Owen Morse (The Passing Zone) were chosen by the National Speakers Association to join Colin Powell, Ronald Reagan, Zig Ziglar, Earl Nightingale, Art Linkletter and others as members of the Speaker Hall of Fame. Inductees are evaluated through a rigorous and demanding process, and must demonstrate mastery in 7 categories: originality of material, uniqueness of style, experience, delivery technique, image, reputation, professionalism, and relating to their audiences. This award is given to speakers who have reached the top echelon of platform excellence.

In a ceremony in Orlando, FL on July 20th, Mr. Wee and Mr. Morse accepted the award in their usual style, mixing heartfelt sentiment with a comedic performance from the platform that brought the house down! And of course they couldn't resist tossing their trophies into the air, to the gasps of the audience of 1,500 professional speakers.

The Passing Zone delivers a comedy entertainment and speaking performance using big laughs, exciting stunts, and flawless teamwork, creating an unforgettable experience for corporate groups in any industry.
