Co-founder of famed Clodhoppers Candy, Chris Emery, combined his grandmother's candy recipe with determination and business savvy to develop a multi-million dollar business in the competitive candy industry.

His youthful, dynamic energy and never-say-die attitude helped him plough through near bankruptcy, nail-biting investor relations meetings and getting in with the big guys like Wal-Mart and Dairy Queen. As a result, his Krave's Candy Company has been ranked among the Top Ten Food Companies in Canada by Food in Canada magazine, it was featured in Profit magazine as a marketing and packaging success story, and most importantly, Kraves saw a 1,000 per cent increase in gross income in its first three years of business.

Emery turned the business over to new hands in 2006, but continues to turn heads with his enthusiasm and boundless energy in the business world.
