Peter McCoppin is an internationally renowned conductor, broadcaster and communicator.

First and foremost an effective and charismatic communicator, McCoppin's public speaking career began with his personal commitment as an advocate for the arts. Through his motivational presentations and coaching programs, he inspires audiences to realize the potential of their voice. Both his musical and public speaking performances have won praise for their depth, spontaneity and energy.

McCoppin has conducted most of Canada's major orchestras and ballet companies, and also led the Canadian Opera Company on a tour of 17 US states. Internationally, he has led orchestras in Tokyo, Tucson, Seoul, Mexico City, and Shanghai. He is currently Conductor Laureate of the Victoria Symphony and host of Classic Theatre, the flagship program for BC's Knowledge Network.
