A renowned industry veteran, Bill Good is a multi-award winning broadcaster with a career spanning 50 years. During his television and radio career in BC, Good interviewed everyone who’s anyone in the province and anchored primetime newscasts for more than 27 years at CBC, BCTV and CTV.

Bill Good is one of British Columbia’s best known and respected broadcasters. He anchored CBC’s evening news for ten years, and he also anchored Canada Tonight and the CTV Evening news. Bill has hosted CKNW radio’s the Bill Good Show which aired weekday mornings. Bill Good spent ten years hosting Hockey Night in Canada when the Canucks first came into the NHL. He covered two Olympic Games, Sapporo in 1972 and Montreal in 1976. He also co-anchored the Canada Soviet Summit Series in 1972. In 1979 Bill moved into news broadcasting and anchored CBC’s evening news for ten years. He then Moved to CKNW were he hosts the Bill Good Show every weekday morning. For several years Bill also anchored Canada Tonight at BCTV and then the CTV Evening news. Bill has an ACTRA award as best interviewer radio interviewer in Canada and was recently awarded the Jack Webster lifetime achievement award. In 2015 he joined News1130 where he launched A Minute with Bill Good. The show is a no-holds-barred editorial commentary, focusing on current hot button issues, the inner workings of BC politics, and the influential movers and shakers who make the decisions that affect you — the public.
