Kicking Off the We Day Tour 2015-16
The annual We Day tour is a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities. The annual series of stadium-sized events has brought together hundreds of thousands of youth volunteers to be inspired by the greatest leaders and entertainers of our time.
At Global Speakers Agency we’re proud to be a partner with the WE brands. Our annual NSBest Speaker Showcase helped raise over $5,000 this year to outfit a school in Kenya through Free the Children’s Adopt a Village initiative.
This year kicks off in Toronto with stops in Vancouver, Montreal, California, London, Chicago and many more. Some of our acclaimed speakers will take part in this years’ We Day Events around the world.
Joseph Boyden |Award-Winning Novelist and Short Story Author
Joseph Boyden is the author of the award-winning novels Three Day Road and Through Black Spruce. Boyden’s most recent novel, The Orenda, is a visceral portrait of life at a crossroads that weaves together the natural beauty and blood-soaked brutality of Canada’s formative years. Spencer West | Author & Free the Children Ambassador
Inspirational and charismatic, Spencer West speaks candidly about the struggles he overcame after losing his legs at the age of five. He speaks about overcoming stereotyping and bullying, about finding meaning and happiness in a material world and how he never lost the hope or courage needed to mount personal obstacles. Craig and Marc Kielburger | International Activists & Co-Founders of We Day
Through We Day, Craig and Marc connect with 200,000 students from 5,000 schools every year. These students earn their entry to the celebration through service programs. Past speakers and performers include Prince Harry, Richard Branson and Jennifer Hudson. With more than 5 million followers on Facebook, We Day has become one of the largest charitable causes in the world. Craig and Marc have been honored with the Order of Canada and over twenty honorary doctorates and degrees collectively. Their accomplishments have been celebrated in multiple appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, 60 Minutes, Piers Morgan Live and The Today Show, as well as in People, TIME and The Economist. They have authored 12 books, including New York Times bestseller, Me to We: Finding Meaning in a Material World, and their weekly columns have been syndicated in online news and print media including 30 newspapers throughout North America and around the world.
