2015 marked our sixth annual speaker showcase and once again the event took another step forward. Our best speaker showcase yet, with a great mix of speakers who shared valuable insight and their “Words to Live By” with our valued clients. In tandem with his work educating the next generation of thinkers on Canada’s future at the University of Saskatchewan, Ken also conducts valuable research on issues affecting Canadians. From Aboriginal rights to Northern Governance, Science and Technology policies to circumpolar affairs and everything in between. Ken recently completed his latest book Dream Factories: Why Universities Won’t Solve the Youth Jobs Crisis, set for release on May 14. In it, Ken explores the impacts of universities turning out graduates with the wrong skills, and the consequences of vanishing job opportunities. Matthew continues to grow the Freshii organization throughout the world, recently opening new locations in Dublin, Grand Rapids, Winnipeg, and Columbus to name a few. The chain is now in over 85 cities around the world. The Financial Post recently looked at how Matthew is riding the health food boom and finding inspiration from fast fashion to fuel Freshii’s rapid expansion. Freshii’s in-store partnerships and new home meal-delivery service are featured in the article.

In between his work with audiences looking to embolden organizational culture, re-boot team performance, and expand resiliency, Adam provides insight on peak performance of top athletes for CBC. Some of his most recent pieces include benefits of flexibility, exercise boosting brain size, beating the stresses of a hectic schedule and more. You’ll see a lot more from Adam as we near the Olympic Games in Rio. Building off his work at the recent PanAm Games in Toronto, Adam will join the CBC team as a broadcast analyst in Rio de Janeiro. Michael can be seen providing commentary and insight on hot-button business issues for CBC News. Some recent stories include a look at the state of Bombardier, the Doha Oil Summit and Canadian Bank CEO Pay. Michael also teamed up with UBER to take part in their UBER Pitch program.
